  • Description

I am super happy and honoured to present to you another series of London Gifties original stamps, representing old-time Latvian folklore.

This is a very special release for me - I have made some Latvian folklore symbols into wooden stamps. They are so close to me, my heart and mt history as a person. Also, I think they are beautiful! The stamps are of the following signs and I will offer a quick explanation from folklore what they represent.

Auseklis- a representation of light defeating dark

Austra's tree- a stylized oak tree, to show the “tree of life” and its three worlds: past, present, and future

Sun sign- a symbol of eternal movement and life

I feel very close and connected to the past and history of my country, maybe because I am so dar away from it, these days. I think they are thoughtful, beautiful and lays embody positive hopes and wishes.

I hope you enjoy them :)

Choose between the three or have a set. :)

    Size approx. A - 5x3cm, B&C - 3x3cm, height approx. 2.2 cm

    Material: beech wood

I use mine in my Midori TN inserts & Hobonichi, and they make for a great addition to the spreads and it is fun sharing it with happy mails to your pen pals and other stationery enthusiasts.
