Brexit shipping updates - at this time, there is no confirmed information about it affecting any outgoing mail. I have been shipping worldwide (outside Europe) for a couple of years and always mark the parcels accordingly and so far I only have had around 0.05% of the parcels taxed with import tax. It is always a possibility, but it does not seem to occur almost at all, however, it is a possibility and responsibility of the customer to pay any tax raised, in case it does happen.
So far it seems all that will change is that I will need to add a customs declaration form (known as CN22) with all outgoing orders outside the UK. At this time, I already use this short form when shipping worldwide outside of the EU - so far, in my 4 years of exposing by post there is just a tiny percentage reported to be charged to the recipient (around 0.05%).
For any specific import tax threshold information, please contact your local postal authority.
